Terry R. Spencer PhD, Esq. 

Chairman of the Board

Terry is an attorney and economist with more than 26 years of experience in the fields of law, finance and oversight of small business ventures. In addition to his legal experience, Dr. Spencer has experience in the fields of aerospace, construction and real estate, both from the point of view of the professional services provider as well as investor.

Dr. Spencer also brings to the table a wide range of government and private industry contacts from his time in the Utah State Legislature and his time as a member of various public and private corporations and professional organizations. Dr. Spencer has published several professional articles in various nationally recognized legal journals.

Craig L. Hulinsky

Executive Director

An executive director of numerous Salt Lake City based nonprofit organizations, Craig Hulinksy is a state lobbyist with extensive knowledge of the legal system and tax code.

Craig's eclectic career has given him experience in fields as diverse as global network architecture for Novel and property management in Park City. 

Sean K MeHew

Program Director

Sean has a Bachelors Degree in business and spent several years with the Legal and Corporate Affairs department for Microsoft.

 

He now does non-profit consulting and has served on boards for various non-profit organizations, including being on the Board of Governors for the Human Rights Campaign. He also has many years experience in event planning.

Michael Christensen

Operations Director

Michael Christensen has served in the nonprofit sector as a Program Director for Utah Arts Alliance for over 7 years.

Creator of the community projects Go Unite and Connect, Michael is somewhat of an "autodidact" with a passion for big picture thinking and community building. 

Ian Harris

UX Strategist

Ian is certified in computer graphics focused on 3D modeling. He has served on committees responsible for projects of the Utah Art Alliance and has presented on their behalf.

In order to balance his impulse to help people with his interests - ranging from data science and engineering to art, and close-up magic - Ian has become a proponent for civic hacking, and other leading edge ways of getting opportunities and information to the people who will save the world.

Steven L Johnson

Director of the Debt Initiative

Steven L. Johnson is the CEO and Co-Founder of the Arbitration Firm Luke, Johnson & Lewis, LLC. He also holds the position of Chair on the board of the Utah African-American Chamber of Commerce.

 

Steven’s career as a Director has provided him with a vast level of experience in the financial industry. Coupled with 25 years of recovery management, he is capable of transcending the reclamation process.

 

With a strong understanding of business administration, industry trends, team building and a sharp set of analytical skills; Johnson is well rounded with the tools necessary for a collection company to be successful.
